It is mainly used in the production of fluorochemicals (e.g., fluoropolymers, refrigerants).In industry, it is applied in pickling of stainless steel, glass etching, and metallurgical derusting.In the electronics industry, it is used for cleaning high-purity silicon wafers.It can also be used in uranium ore processing and as a catalyst for petroleum alkylation, etc.
