N,N-Dimethylacetamide is a colorless transparent liquid with a slight ammonia odor. As a high-polarity aprotic solvent, it possesses strong dissolving capacity, good thermal stability, low volatility, flammability and low toxicity, and exhibits excellent chemical stability.

4. Solvent for coatings, inks and adhesives; paint remover.

5. Catalyst for organic synthesis, electrolytic solvent, and extractive distillation solvent.
