Toluene diisocyanate (TDI) is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with a strong pungent and lachrymatory odor.It tends to yellow, degrade and undergo chemical reactions when exposed to light, air or moisture.The industrial product is mainly a mixture of 2,4-TDI (80%) and 2,6-TDI (20%), known as TDI-80.
